Centric Relation

The idea of centric relation is that there is one specific position for your jaw which will align the muscles, nerves, and joints, allowing each to work together in a way that is most comfortable for you. The centric relation position can be found on any patient, no matter what condition your teeth are in. In most cases, centric relation is determined to be the most anterior and superior position of the jaw, though we’ll ensure we’ve found the ideal positioning just right for you. Centric relation alleviates pain and discomfort associated with TMJ disorder.
