Fluoride Treatments

If your teeth are feeling extra sensitive, you don’t have the benefit of fluoridated water, or, if you’ve become more prone to decay due to diet, acid reflux, and, or, dry mouth, we offer fluoride treatment for both adults and children. Fluoride restores essential minerals to the tooth enamel, adding a barrier against decay and protecting the dentin layer from exposure to changing temperatures and other sensitivities. Children’s developing teeth also need the extra protection of regular fluoride treatments to help them grow into strong, healthy smiles. We provide fluoride treatments as needed, and for patients who need extra protection, we’re happy to prescribe a prescription-strength toothpaste, either Fluoridex or Clinpro, to strengthen enamel and ward off decay.
