Dr Charuta Modak is a dedicated dentist with over ten years of clinical experience committed to providing patient care through excellent quality of service. She prides herself on understanding each patient’s individual needs and providing adequate time to discuss their dental needs and conditions. She loves interacting with people, sharing ideas, and appreciates the growth that it brings in her. It is her mission to keep up with the latest techniques and methods in dentistry, building a one-on-one dentist-patient relationship, and offers the most modern and comprehensive level of patient care.
Dr Modak completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from India in 2008. She attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received her D.M.D. degree in 2017 with High Honors. Since 2018, Dr Modak has been working as a general dentist in Baltimore County and Howard County Maryland, within a private practice setting. She has completed over 600 hours of continuing education (CE). Dr Modak completed the AAID Maxicourse Implant placement Course from Rutgers University, NJ in 2021. She is a certified Invisalign provider and is trained to administer Botox and Dermal fillers.
Her areas of interest in dentistry include crown and bridge dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and esthetic restorative procedures. Dr Modak loves prosthodontic digital workflows and has a keen interest to make it a large part of her work. She likes to use advanced materials and techniques, attend good CE courses and bring it to her practice. She will be attending the Pankey Institute for advanced training in the spring this year.
Dr Modak maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA), the Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA), the Howard County Dental Association, the American Association of ImplantDentistry and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is actively involved in the community and supports many international and local charities including the Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC .
Dr Modak and her husband, Karan, live in Ellicott City, MD and are blessed with two beautiful children, a 10-year old girl and a 4-year old boy. During her time away from work, she enjoys cooking, working out, playing tennis, reading, traveling with her family, and watching cricket and football.
It is her dream is to have a high quality, honest and unique care driven practice that she will be proud to leave behind as a legacy.
